1. Ordering Policy

Le Sud Pâtisserie offers custom cakes, birthday cakes, gender reveal cakes, and Auckland cake delivery.
To ensure your order is completed to our quality standards:

  • Standard cakes require at least 48 hours notice

  • Custom cakes require 3–7 days notice, depending on complexity

  • Gender reveal cakes require strict handling — see our full policy here:

  • Orders are only confirmed once full payment is received

2. Payment Policy

To secure your booking, full payment must be made at the time of ordering.
This allows us to allocate ingredients, labour, and schedule time for your cake.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit/debit cards

  • Online payment (via checkout)

  • Bank transfer (case-by-case approval)

Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

6. Allergen & Ingredients Policy

Le Sud Pâtisserie uses premium ingredients, including French butter, real fruit purées, couverture chocolate, and natural flavours.
However, our kitchen handles allergens such as:

  • Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Tree nuts

Please note: While we take great care, trace allergens may still be present.

7. Quality Guarantee & Issues with Orders

If you have any quality concerns:

  • Contact us within 12 hours of receiving your cake

  • Provide photos and a description of the issue

  • In some cases, we may request the cake be returned for assessment

If the issue is due to our error, we may offer:

  • A replacement cake (depending on the situation)

 

8. Weather, Transport & Storage Policy

Cakes are delicate and sensitive to heat, humidity, and movement.
To ensure your cake stays perfect:

  • Keep refrigerated until serving

  • Avoid placing cakes in sunlight or warm cars

  • Transport cakes on a flat, level surface

  • Buttercream and whipped cream cakes soften quickly in summer — extra care required

Once the cake leaves our store or is delivered successfully, we are not responsible for heat damage or mishandling.

 

9. Photo Accuracy & Variations in Design

Every cake is handmade by our pastry chefs.
While we always aim to deliver a close match to reference photos, variations may occur due to:

  • Colors

  • Piping style

  • Garnishes

  • Seasonal ingredients

For sensitive orders like gender reveal cakes, only the assigned pastry chef will view the submitted gender information.
